Derek Tabor has been recognized with BIG EAST Men's Golfer of the Week honors for the third time this season. The conference office made the announcement Thursday, Feb. 26.
 
Tabor shares this week's award with Joseph Dolezal of St. John's.
 
Tabor tied for fifth at the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico, posting a 3-under 213 to lead the Bulldogs.  The senior posted scores of 70, 72, and 71, staying under par for all three rounds of the 54-hole tournament, finishing three shots off the lead.  He led the 90-player field in par-3 scoring (2.83 avg, -2).
 
Tabor was previously recognized by the BIG EAST twice during the fall portion of the schedule with weekly awards Oct. 23, 2025 and Sept. 24, 2025.
 
The Bulldogs return to action March 8-10 at the App State Surf Club Invitational in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
