On Sunday afternoon, the Butler men's tennis team suffered its third consecutive loss, this time at the hands of Cleveland State. The loss drops the Bulldogs to 3-9 on the season.
The Vikings took the doubles point with victories on courts one and three. In singles play,
Siddhartha Lama earned the lone point for Butler with a straight-set win on court six. The junior has been a bright spot for the Dawgs, posting a 7-5 record in singles play to start the spring season. Cleveland State won the remaining five singles matches to secure the 6-1 victory.Â
Butler returns home on Friday, March 6, when they take on crosstown foe IU Indy. First serve is set for 3 p.m. from IRC Dean Road.
