MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Butler split its doubleheader with the Milwaukee Panthers on Saturday.
Brock Buckley tossed a complete seven-inning game in game one of the doubleheader, marking his first complete game of the season, in Butler's 6-2 win. In game two, Milwaukee defeated BU 10-3. With the split, the Dawgs move to 7-20 on the season while Milwaukee moves to 5-19.

BULLDOG HIGHLIGHTS: GAME 1
- Brock Buckley was outstanding on the mound, throwing a complete game and picking up his first win of the season. The senior gave up two runs on eight hits, striking out eight while walking just one.
- Matthew Rhoades went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer. Rhoades now has 16 on the season, the second-most in the country.
- Danny Gavin walked three times, marking the most by any Bulldog in a game this season. Gavin also scored a run.
- Gavin Gilmore went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI single and a run.
- Will White hit two singles and scored a run.
- Gavin Gilmore went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI single and a run.
- Easton Moore went 2-for-4 with two singles.
- Jack Zeller notched a two-RBI single.
HOW IT HAPPENED: GAME 1
- An error from the Panthers and back-to-back singles from Ayers and White loaded the bases for Butler to begin the game. Rhoades scored on a wild pitch, giving the Bulldogs an early 1-0 lead.
- After three consecutive scoreless innings, Butler added to its lead in the fifth. White notched a one-out single and later scored courtesy of an RBI single from Gilmore. Buckley struck out the side in the bottom of the frame as Butler led 2-0 entering the sixth.
- In the top of the sixth, Logan Crock was hit by a pitch. Rhoades followed with a two-run shot, extending the Bulldogs' lead to 4-0. A sacrifice fly from UWM cut the BU lead to 4-1 heading into the final frame.
- The Bulldogs added two more insurance runs in the seventh. Gilmore doubled and stole third, and Gavid walked and stole second. Zeller then drove them home with a two-RBI single, giving Butler a 6-1 cushion. The Panthers added one more run in the bottom of the seventh, but the rally fell short as Butler secured the 6-2 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED: GAME 2
- Milwaukee got on the board first in game two, plating two runs in the first behind three hits.
- The second and third were scoreless for both sides. Milwaukee hit a two-out grand slam in the bottom of the fourth as the Panthers extended the lead to six (6-0).
- After a scoreless fifth, the Panthers added four more in the bottom of the sixth as the Milwaukee lead grew to 10.
- Gavin got the Dawgs on the board in the seventh with a three-run home run. Despite the late rally, Butler was unable to mount a comeback in the top of the seventh, dropping the contest 10-3.

Butler and Milwaukee will square off tomorrow in the final game of the weekend series. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m. ET.
