INDIANAPOLIS — The Bulldogs opened play at the Colonel Classic strong, ending day one in third place in the team standings.

The team posted a total of 620 (+44) through 36 holes. Host Eastern Kentucky has the lead heading into Tuesday's final round at 615 (+39). The Colonels lead Youngstown State by one shot and the Bulldogs by five strokes. There are 10 teams in the field. 

Treva Dodd is in third place individually with a total score of 152 (+8). She had a pair of birdies in each round on Monday. Neeranuch Prajunpanich of Youngstown State has the lead at three-over 147. 

Butler's Sophie McGinnis and Kelli Scheck are tied for 14th place at 156 (+12). Cybil Stillson sits in 17th place with a score of 157 (+13).

The final 18 holes are scheduled for The University Club at Arlington in Richmond, Ky., on Tuesday, with a shotgun start at 9:00. Live results are available via a link posted on ButlerSports.com
