Jesse Hamlin has qualified for the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., where he will be part of the men's 3,000-meter field.

Hamlin earned one of 16 spots in the event at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 7:39.70 earlier this season. Hamlin's time from the Boston University Hemery Valentine Invitational in February broke his own school record in the event.

His time is tenth in the field with Villanova's Marco Langon holding the top qualifying time at 7:34.00.

Hamlin enters the NCAA Indoor Championships after earning Most Outstanding Track Performer and High Point Performer at last weekend's BIG EAST Championships. He became the first BIG EAST male athlete to win the 5,000 meters, the mile, and the 4x800-meter relay at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships.

Hamlin also qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in 2023 when he earned All-American honors in the 3,000 meters by placing seventh in the field.

The NCAA Indoor Championships will be contested in Fayetteville, Ark., Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14. Hamlin's 3,000-meter race is scheduled for 7:25 p.m. (Eastern) on Saturday, March 14. Live coverage will be available on ESPN+ and the championships will re-air on Sunday, March 15 at 7 p.m. (Eastern) on ESPNU.
