INDIANAPOLIS - Butler will face Georgetown in the opening round of the 2026 BIG EAST Tournament Presented by Jeep on Friday, March 6. Tip-off for the contest is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Mohegan Sun Arena. This will be the third time Butler and Georgetown face one another this season, as each side picked up a road victory during the regular season. The game will be streamed live on Peacock with John Fanta, Kim Adams and Caroline Pineda on the call.

ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
- Butler (12-18, 6-14 BE) is coming off its third-consecutive victory as BU took down Seton Hall 62-55 at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Sunday. Mallory Miller led the Dawgs with 19 points in the contest. Miller chipped in three rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal.
- Anna Wypych was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the week on Monday after a 2-0 week for Butler. Wypych averaged 14.5 points, two rebounds and two assists across the two games. The freshman shot 42.9 percent (9-21) from the floor and sank 33.3 percent (4-12) of her shots from distance.
- Saniya Jackson earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after averaging a double-double last week for BU. The redshirt sophomore averaged 12 points per game and 11 rebounds per game. Over the course of the week, Jackson pulled down 19 defensive rebounds to go with three offensive boards. She added three steals, two assists and a block.
- Butler has posted double-digit assists in 18 of 20 league games this season. Butler recorded 14 assists as a team against Seton Hall, behind a game-high five assists from Kennedy Langham.
- Saniya Jackson recorded her second double-double of the season against DePaul tallying 19 points on a perfect 8-for-8 shooting performance from the floor. Jackson grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds and added an assist and three steals.
- Miller leads the BU offense, averaging 9.4 points per game. The redshirt sophomore is shooting 40.1-percent from the floor and 32.6-percent from beyond the arc. Saniya Jackson leads the squad on the glass, pulling down 5.5 rebounds per game.
- Butler's two freshmen, Addison Baxter and Wypych, have been solid contributors this season for BU, averaging 19.1 and 16.7 minutes per game, respectively. Baxter, a 2025 Indiana All-Star from Columbia City, is averaging 5.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 steals per game. She is shooting 43.6-percent from the floor and is sinking 77.4-percent of her attempts from the charity stripe. Wypych posts 6.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. The Michigan native has been impressive from the floor, shooting 43.7-percent while sinking 36.8-percent of her shots from behind the arc.
- BU is in the top 100 nationally in bench points per game (22.8; 72nd) and free throw percentage (74.3%; 91st).
- Austin Parkinson is in his fourth season at the helm of the Bulldogs. Parkinson has led the squad to 42 wins in his first three seasons.

SCOUTING GEORGETOWN
- Georgetown (13-16, 6-14 BE) concluded the regular season with a 59-54 loss against DePaul in Washington, D.C. GU was led by Indya Davis, who scored 11 points in the contest.
- Khia Miller leads the Hoya offense, averaging 9.3 points per game. Miller is shooting 40.8-percent from the field and 29.8-percent from beyond the arc.
- Destiny Agubata paces GU on the glass, pulling down five rebounds per game.
ABOUT THE SERIES
- Butler is 14-13 all-time against Georgetown dating back to 2014.
- The two sides split the season series as BU took down the Hoyas in D.C. on February 21, 66-58.
