INDIANAPOLIS — The Bulldogs opened play at the Low Country Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, South Carolina, early Monday morning at The Golf Club at Indigo Run. After finishing the first 18 holes at 309 (+21) and the second round at 313 (+25), Butler sits in sixth place with a team total of 622 (+46).
Treva Dodd leads the Bulldogs after posting a two-round score of 148 (+4). Dodd opened the tournament with an even-par 72 and followed with a 76 (+4). She birdied Hole 4 in both rounds, accounting for two of her six birdies on the day, and is currently tied for third place individually.
Sophie McGinnis led the team in the second round, carding a 75 (+3). McGinnis sits in 20th place individually with a two-round total of 155 (+11).
Kelli Scheck recorded the second-lowest score for Butler in the second round with a 77 (+5). She finished the day with a total of 159 (+15), tied for 34th place individually.
Addi Kooi is tied for 38th place after posting identical rounds of 80 (+8) for a two-round total of 160 (+16).
The Bulldogs will conclude the tournament on Tuesday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on the front nine.
