NEW YORK - Leo Zurovac was named the BIG EAST Men's Golfer of the Week after winning the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational at 9-under par.
Treva Dodd earned BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week after finishing fourth at the Colonel Classic. This is the second time this spring that Zurovac and Dodd have earned BIG EAST Golfer of the Week honors.
The conference made the announcement Thursday, April 2.

Zurovac captured medalist honors and led the Bulldogs to the team title at the 2026 Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational. The highlight of Zurovac's tournament came Monday morning as he carded an 8-under 62, setting both a course record for the team's home Highland Golf Club and a new program best for a par-70 course. Zurovac ended the tournament with two eagles and 13 birdies, carding a 201 (-9) total. Zurovac carded an-even par 70 in Tuesday's final round, solidifying his first-place finish by two strokes.

The Bulldogs claimed a third-place finish at the Colonel Classic, leaning on Dodd's Top 5 performance. Dodd finished fourth on the individual leaderboard at 11-over 227. She fired rounds of 73 and 79 Monday and a three-over 75 in Tuesday's final round. The sophomore recorded six birdies across the three rounds to go with 33 pars.
The Butler men will return to action April 6-7, as BU travels to Batavia, Ohio to play in the NKU Jewell Invitational. The Butler women have a week off before making the quick trip to West Lafayette, April 12-13, for the Boilermaker Spring Classic.
