At the first checkpoint of the outdoor season, Butler Men's Track and Field is ranked among the top 10 nationally in two events.
Butler Men's 5,000-meter group is 10th in the NCAA Event Ranking. Graduate student
Matthew Forrester is ranked 19th in the nation leading the group with a mark of 13:54.15.
The Men's 10,000-meter group is currently third in the NCAA Event Ranking. Senior
William Zegarski is ranked third in the nation and leads the group with a time of 28:18.18.
The event rankings will be released by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association throughout the season.
The Bulldogs will return to action this weekend in the Pacesetter Invitational which will be held at Indiana State. More information on the event will be available on Butlersports.com.
