Indianapolis, Ind.- The Wildcats' offense capitalized on Butler Saturday afternoon with 22 draw controls to take the 18-9 win over the Dawgs. With the loss, Butler finishes the season 3-13 and 0-6 in BIG EAST play while Villanova's season ends with a 9-6 overall record and 3-3 conference record. 
 
How it happened: 

• Villanova tallied four goals, while Butler was held scoreless in the first.
• Both teams added five goals in the second quarter. Bulldog goals came from Elise Latham (2x), Grace Churchwell (2x) and Sarah Gastineau. 
• Villanova added a game-high seven goals in the third, while Butler had one from Latham. 
• Butler outscored Villanova 3-2 in the fourth quarter. Bulldog goals came from Kerrin McGovern (2x) and Maggie Lewis. 

 
Notable Stats:

• McGovern had four draw controls. 
• Olivia DiCarlo recorded five ground balls. 
• Patricia Lynn had three caused turnovers.
