NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference announced its 2026 All-BIG EAST tennis teams on Thursday. Butler's
Riccardo Baldi has been named to the All-BIG EAST second team as unanimous selection. The league's head coaches select the all-conference squads and were not permitted to select their own players. The BIG EAST Conference office made the announcement Thursday, April 30.
Baldi played exclusively at No. 1 and No. 2 singles for the Bulldogs, posting an overall record of 8-14. Baldi posted BIG EAST wins against Yuma Daijima (Creighton), Blake Roegner (Marquette), and Andy Hadziabdic (DePaul). In doubles play, Baldi posted a 7-10 record, primarily competing alongside
Arnesh Singh at No. 2 and No. 1. Additionally, Baldi was named the BIG EAST Men's Singles Player of The Week on April 6 after recording a pair of straight-set victories at No. 1 singles.
