Butler junior Cabott Craft has been selected as the BIG EAST Men's Field Athlete of the Week. The conference office made the announcement Tuesday, April 7.
 
Craft jumped a length of 7.17 meters in the long jump event at the Pacesetter Invitational hosted by Indiana State Saturday in Terre Haute, Ind. His jump earned him a second-place finish in the event.
 
This is Craft's fifth time earning weekly honors in his career after earning BIG EAST Field Athlete of the Week on 12/18/23, 2/21/24, 5/8/24 and 2/25/25. 
 
His recognition this week is the first time a Bulldog has received the weekly honor during the 2026 outdoor season.
 
Craft and the Bulldogs will compete in the We Fly Challenge at Ball State Friday and Saturday. More information will be available at https://butlersports.com/.
