Butler alum Jesse Hamlin and assistant coach Mikayla Reed each posted Top 15 finishes in the USATF 5K Championships in Indianapolis Saturday morning. 
 
Hamlin finished eighth in the men's division with a time of 13:37. Drew Hunter from Longmont, Colo., won the race in a time of 13:28. 
 
Reed placed 13th in the women's race with a time of 15:42. Karissa Schweizer from Portland, Ore., finished first in a time of 14:59. 
 
The 500 Festival partnered with Indiana Sports Corp to host the Championships at the Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K in downtown Indianapolis.
