William Zegarski ran a personal-best in the 10,000-meter event to earn 10th-place at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore.
The top-10 finish earned Zegarski second-team All-America honors.
Zegarski crossed the line in a time of 28:19.38. New Mexico's Habtom Samuel won the NCAA title in the event, clocking a time of 27:51.31. The top-10 finishers were separated by only 28 seconds.
Zegarski's inclusion in the 10k final Wednesday night marked the sixth consecutive NCAA Championship with a Bulldog in the field. Butler is one of four schools with the six consecutive appearances in the 10k event.
Zegarski's race served as the final event for Butler Athletics for the 2025-26 academic year.
