Nick Vilela has signed with the Butler men's golf program and will begin his collegiate career in Indianapolis with the upcoming 2026-27 season.

"He is a talented, hardworking young man whose character, competitive spirit, and commitment to improvement will make him a tremendous fit for our program. We're excited to watch him grow and contribute to our team."
 
Vilela rounds out a recruiting class which includes three future Bulldogs who signed with Butler during the November signing period: Nicholas Brooks, David Krusinski and Johnny Leaman.
 
Vilela arrives at Butler from Washington, Mo., and St. Louis University High School. He led his team to a pair of state championships and served as the team captain. He also played for the Xavier Golf Company in the St. Louis area. Vilela was an honor roll student in all eight semesters of his high school academic career.
