Kylie Eaton, who played the last two seasons at the University of Illinois, has signed with Butler Women's Golf and head coach Christie Cates. Eaton will join the Bulldogs beginning with the upcoming 2026-27 season.

"I'm really excited that Kylie is joining our program," said Cates. "I recruited her in high school and knew then that her skill and work ethic would transfer to the next level. That, coupled with her college experience, will make her a valuable addition to our team."

During her sophomore season with the Fighting Illini, Eaton played in four events and posted a scoring average of 77.33 over 12 total rounds. She posted a 31st-place finish at the 2026 Florida State Match-Up with a score of 11-over 227 for the 54 holes. As a freshman during the 2024-25 campaign, Eaton played in one event, the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah. She was named an Illinois Outstanding Scholar-Athlete during her time at Illinois.

Eaton is from Greenville, R.I., and played for Moses Brown School during her prep years. She was the 2024 WEGA Amateur champion and earned Rhode Island first-team All-State honors three times (2021-23). Eaton finished third in the 2022 high school state championship and was second in 2021. She was named the Rhode Island Girls Player of the Year in both 2021 and 2022.

In 2022, she won the Rhode Island Women's Amateur title after winning the 2021 Rhode Island Junior Girls Golf Amateur championship. She won the 2023 New England Junior Amateur championship with a three-round score of two-under-par. She placed fifth at the 2023 AJGA UHY Albany Junior Championship and tied for sixth at the 2023 Doral Jr. Classic Championship.

A three-sport athlete at Moses Brown School, Eaton won the 2022 Rhode Island high school tennis state championship and was a member of the All-American 4x400-meter relay team at the 2023 Nike Indoor Nationals.
