Three student-athletes on the Butler women's lacrosse team,
Patricia Lynn,
Madeline Gregston, and
Maggie Lewis, have been recognized by College Sports Communicators as Academic All-District®.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
Lynn, a senior defender from Houston, Texas, received BIG EAST All-Second Team honors this season. She finished her career as second all-time in draw controls with 118. Lynn totalled 68 ground balls, and 51 caused turnovers. She led the team with 24 caused turnovers during the 2026 season. She graduated with a degree in Finance, Risk Management and Insurance and finished her academic career with a 3.852 GPA.
Gregston, a sophomore from Fenton, Mo., appeared in all 16 games, starting in six matches. She recorded four goals, two assists, four ground balls, and nine draw controls this past season. She majors in Risk Management and Insurance, and Marketing and currently has a 3.962 GPA.
Lewis, a sophomore from Austin, Texas, saw action in 15 games and started in five. She tallied 11 goals and three assists and secured five ground balls, seven draw controls, and caused two turnovers this season. She majors in Neuroscience and currently has a 3.869 GPA.
