The Butler men's and women's track & field programs garnered USTFCCCA All-Academic team awards for the 2025-26 season. To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors, a team must have a cumulative team GPA of at least a 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter.
Butler had six male student-athletes earn USTFCCCA All-Academic individual honors in track & Field. Student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of
3.25 (Divisions I/II) or
3.30 (Division III) on a 4.0 scale. Athletically, they must either finish the season ranked in the top 50 nationally (descending order list) or participate in the NCAA Indoor/Outdoor Championships.

Matthew Forrester,
Jesse Hamlin,
Austin Gabay, and
Brendan Thomas earned All-Academic individual honors.
Zegarski finished fourth at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional during the 2025 cross country season with a time of 29:22.0. He entered the NCAA East First Round in track with the 40th-best time in the country and 14th-best in the East region for the 10,000 meters with a time of 28:28.18. He improved on that position in earning Second-Team All-America honors at the NCAA Championships after finishing 10th place.
Fullerton earned his honors with his respective performances at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in cross country and his BIG EAST Outdoor Championships qualifying time. Fullerton finished 29th at the Great Lakes Regional Championship in cross country and was ranked 40th in the outdoor 10,000-meter event going into the NCAA East Region First Round with a time of 29:05.56.
Forrester earned recognition based on his qualifying time at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in the 10,000-meter event. Forrester was ranked 31st going into the NCAA East Region First Round with a time of 28:55.93.
Hamlin earned recognition based on his cross country 10K and Indoor 3,000-meter qualifying time. Hamlin finished in second-place at the Great Lakes Regional Championship with a time of 29:43.16. Hamlin was ranked 10th going into the Indoor Championships earlier this year with a qualifying time of 7:39.70. He finished in fifth at the NCAA Championships and earned All-American honors.
Gabay earned a personal-best 7:56.98 in the 3000 meters at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Open and earned third place in the mile at BIG EAST Indoor Championships at 4:16.51. He was part of the 4x800 meter first-place relay team at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships and earned All-BIG EAST honors in the 4x800 and the 1500m.
Thomas had a stellar season, finishing 32nd in the 10,000 meters at the NCAA East First Round. He secured fourth in the 10,000 meters at 29:05.53 at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships. Thomas finished fourth in the 5,000 meters at BIG EAST Indoor Championships with a time of 14:16.53.
