Angelina Ellis ('23) competed in the 2026 USATF Track & Field National Championships on Saturday and finished fourth in the 3000m steeplechase. 
 
Running for team Under Armour Dark Sky out of Flagstaff, Ariz., Ellis clocked a lifetime best time of 9:18.84. Earlier this month Ellis posted a 9:20.30 qualifying mark at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Ore. The 2023 grad had a historic career at Butler, earning USTFCCCA All-America and All-BIG EAST honors.
 
Current Butler assistant coach, Mikayla Reed, took home fifth in the 10,000m yesterday with a time of 33.49.23. William Cuthbertson ('24), also competed yesterday in the men's 800m, posting a time of 1:49.35.
