Logan Sutto's medalist performance led the Bulldogs to a team title at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational. Butler claimed the 54-hole title by 16 strokes.
 
Sutto capped his weekend with a three-under 67 Sunday. He got off to a hot start by birdying three of his first six holes and then played level par the rest of the round. Sutto began the day one shot behind Ball State's Luke Johnston's lead but overcame him in the final round. Johnston bogeyed the 16^th hole and had a double bogey on the 18^th to finish one shot behind Sutto.
 
Sutto's Sunday 67 – his best round of the weekend – gave him a total of seven-under 203.
 
The Bulldogs posted the best round of the tournament with a seven-under 273 Sunday. Luke Kruger and Jacob Tarkany each turned in scorecards of two-under 68 Sunday while freshman Nicholas Brooks was at even-70 on the day. Sutto and that trio all finished among the Top 10 individually on the final leaderboard.
 
The Bulldogs held a two-stroke advantage after the first day of the tournament and ran away with the result with their Sunday performance. Butler finished at 828 (-12). The Bulldogs were 14 shots better than host runner-up Ball State (844, +4) Sunday, giving the Bulldogs a 16-shot pad. Wright State moved into third at (848, +8). There were 16 teams in the field.
 
Freshman Johnny Leaman's weekend was highlighted by an ace on the 113-yard 14^th hole in Saturday's afternoon round. He finished in a tie for 50^th.
