PRIOR TO BUTLER: Competed in both cross country and track and field for three seasons...all-state honoree...team MVP and captain...Bay League champion in the 1600 in both 2018 and 2019...three-time all-area selection, also earning All-CIF honors two times...as a senior, posted times of 4:16 in the 1600 and 14:58 in the 3-mile...as a junior, he also had a personal-best of 9:36 in the 3200...in cross country, his team won Bay League and CIF championships in 2018...graduated with a 4.4 GPA.
PERSONAL: Son of Steve and Patty...has one sibling, Colin.
