2021-22 Track: Won the 3000m steeplechase at the Illini Classic (4/9) and the Sycamore Open (4/30)...3rd place finish in the 1000m at the Blue & Gold Invitational (12/3)...5th place in the 1500m at the Billy Hayes Invitational (5/6)
PRIOR TO BUTLER: Won the 2,000-meter steeplechase at the 2019 USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships… Named All-State as part of the 4x800 relay team… Was an All-Sectional cross country selection… Also earned All-Conference honors… Helped set a Mundelein school record in the 4x800 relay (7:51.91)… Ran a career best 2,000-meter steeplechase time of 6:13.49… Academically, was a two-year honor roll selection.
PERSONAL: Son of Paul and Amy… Has an older brother, Lucas.
