Reached the finals of the River Forest Collegiate Invitational with wins over Valparaiso and Northern Illinois... Went 7-9 at No. 2 Singles, 0-1 at No. 3 Singles and 0-5 at the No. 1 spot... Played with multiple teammates in doubles action... Ended the year 2-2 alongside Brandon Woods in No. 2 Doubles, went 1-2 at No. 3 Doubles with Andres Maynez, and 0-1 at No. 2 Doubles with Sam O'Neill... Picked up one win in doubles play with Tommy Marx at No. 2... Rattled off three straight wins in No. 2 Singles vs. Eastern Kentucky (1/26), Northern Kentucky (1/27) and ASA (2/1)... 2011-12 - Freshman Season: Went 3-6 in conference play while playing mostly at the 3-6 singles spots... Saw action at No. 3 doubles... Picked up conference wins over UIC and Valparaiso... Came from behind to capture three-set win over Southern Illinois on 2/4/12.
Before Butler: Didn't play high school tennis... Schooled at National Institute of Open Schooling in Noida, India... Trained at the Sanchez-Cassel Academy in Barcelona, Spain... One of the top junior players in India, ranking in the top 20 in the U-14, U-16 and U-18 divisions... Climbed to 48th in the country in the men's ranking.
