Named BIG EAST Player and Freshman of the Week on Nov. 16 after averaging 23 points and 14.5 rebounds over her first two games of the season... Made a splash in the season opener vs. Valparaiso by recording a season-high 29 points to go along with a season-high 22 rebounds (11/13)... Averaged 11.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per contest... Hit a double figure scoring total in 13 contests... Notched a double-double in four of her first seven games of the season... Impacted the TCU game with 21 points and 12 rebounds on 8-of-12 shooting from the field (12/1)... Came up with a season-high six blocked shots in the win over Georgetown (12/31)... Added 14 points and seven boards against the Hoyas... Earned the start at Providence (1/8) and responded with 22 points, 11 rebounds and a season-high four assists... Knocked down 10-of-15 from the charity stripe against the Friars... Top free throw shooting performance came in the season opener when Schickel hit 15-of-18 against Valpo... Finished the regular season on a high note by playing a season-high 35 minutes at Villanova and posting 17 points and 11 rebounds on 7-of-11 shooting (2/28)... High School: 2015 Indiana All-Star... Two-time State Champion... Part of the first girls athletic team to win a state title in Mater Dei school history... Won three conference championships and ended the 2013-14 season as State Runner-ups... Averaged a double-double in three of her four seasons at Mater Dei...Posted 19.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per game as a sophomore and 17.0 points and 11.6 rebounds as a junior... Stepped up to average 19.9 points, 12.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game during her senior year... ICGSA All-State First Team selection... Named All-City, All-Conference, and All-Metro all four years... Three-start recruit... Set the rebound record in the 2A state finals (12-13)... Tied the 3A state finals rebound record in 2013-14... Personal: Daugther of Tim and Theresa Schickel... Has two siblings; Tyler and Tanner... Majoring in Pre-PA.

Schickel on Choosing Butler: I chose Butler because of the great academic programs. I love the size of the campus, but also like the fact that they are in the BIG EAST Conference. Their basketball program is full of tradition and they work hard every year to be competitive.
