2016-17 Senior Season: BIG EAST Player of the Year, All-BIG EAST selection as chosen by the league's head coaches, and the 2017 BIG EAST Tournament Most Outstanding Player...led Butler to the 2017 BIG EAST Tournament title and an NCAA Tournament apperance...won all three of his No. 3 singles matches during the BIG EAST Tournament, including clinching 4-3 wins in the quarterfinals against Villanova and in the semifinals against Georgetown...had a 25-7 overall singles record during the combined fall and spring...went 9-3 in fall play...posted records of 4-0 at No. 1 singles, 7-3 at No. 2 singles and 5-1 at No. 3 singles...he and Mason Dragos were chosen to participate in the 2017 NCAA Doubles Championships, the first Butler players to be selected for an NCAA individual championship event...at the NCAA Doubles Championships, the Butler duo lost to a nationally-ranked team from Ole Miss in the opening round...the duo finished the season ranked in the Top 10 within their ITA region...he and Dragos combined for a 13-3 doubles record...also posted doubles records of 4-0 (in the fall) with Alex Woldmoe and 5-4 with Aviv Ben Shabat (at the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles positions). 

2015-16 Junior Season: Posted a 6-13 overall record in singles action... Ended the year 9-9 overall in doubles play... Won his first singles match at No. 3 6-4, 6-2 against Northwestern Ohio... Moved up to No. 2 to extend his win streak with a 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 win vs. Indianapolis... Picked up a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 2 vs. Rose-Hulman... Won in straight-sets vs. DePauw 6-4, 6-2... Notched two victories in conference play by defeating opponents from Marquette and DePaul... Won 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 vs. the Golden Eagles and 6-2, 7-6 at No. 2 vs. DePaul's Kyle Johnson... First doubles win came against Green Bay 7-6 alongside Mason Dragos... Second win came at Cleveland State 6-4... Rattled off four-straight wins with Dragos at No. 1 against teams from Rose-Hulman, Case Western Reserve, IUPUI and DePauw... Won three of his last four double matches with Dragos at the No. 1 spot... Defeated conference foes from DePaul and Xavier 6-3 and 7-6... Defeated Creighton in the backdraw 6-2 in the final match of the year.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2014-2015 at Santa Clara: SINGLES: finished with a 9-9 record on the season, including a 7-8 record in dual matches … clinched the upset over then-No. 67 Portland after downing Mathieu Garcia 7-5, 5-7, 7-6(8) on April 19 ... rallied to down Todd Fought from Weber State 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 on March 6 ... defeated Andrew Dzulynsky from Nebraska 6-4, 7-6 on February 21 ... clinched the victory over Fresno State with a 6-3, 7-5 victory against Eric Komati on February 14 ... rallied to defeat UC Davis' Bryce McKelvie 6-4, 0-6, 6-4 on January 31 ... overcame UNC Wilmington's Zach Hublitz 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 on January 23 ... rolled 6-1, 6-2 against UC Santa Cruz's Jimmy Soper on January 17 for first dual match victory of the season ... overcame a first set defeat against Pepperdine’s Kento Tamaki to come back and win his second match at the Battle In The Bay Classic in three sets, 5-7, 7-6, 7-6 … downed USF’s Johan Samuelsson 6-4, 7-5 to clinch his first victory of the season at the Battle In The Bay Classic.DOUBLES: finished with a 7-5 record with partner Ashot Khacharyan ... won their fifth match in a row after taking down Portland's Kent Andreasen and Reid deLaubenfels 7-5 on April 19 ... bested Gonzaga's Alvaro Nazal and Nick Kamisar by a score of 6-2 on April 18 ... claimed a 6-3 victory over Sacramento State's Christopher Clayton and Sean Kolar by a score of 6-3 on April 15 ... overcame Pacific's Marlon Brand and Daniel Alameh by a score of 7-5 on April 11 ... picked up a 6-4 victory against James Markiewicz and Wil Martin from Saint Mary's on April 10 ... cruised past LMU's Joat Farah and Errol Smith by a score of 6-2 on April 3 ... captured a 6-4 victory over Nebraska's Bradford Zitsch and Scott Elsass on Feburary 21.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2013-2014 at Santa Clara: SINGLES: Recorded a 13-7 mark overall and in dual match play during his first season as a Bronco … played primarily at the No. 4 singles position … garnered an eight-match winning streak during the season ... downed San Francisco’s Thomas Takemoto in two sets during quarterfinal round of WCC Championships on April 24 … edged out Saint Mary’s Nathan Lewis 7-5, 6-4 on April 18 … cruised to a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Will Cooper from Willamette University on March 28 … rallied to take three set victory over New Mexico State’s Liam Goldberg 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 on March 16 to extend his winning streak to eight matches… prevailed in three sets over Muzeen Ismath from Gonzaga on March 2 ... battled back to win 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 over No. 69 New Mexico's James Hignett on February 23 ... 6-4, 6-3 victories over both No. 57 San Diego State's Hendrik Jebens and Fresno State's Nikolas Papic during mid-February ... defeated his Sonoma State opponent, Robert Henry, 6-1, 6-3 on February 1 ... fell at No. 4 USC to Connor Farren on January 25 ... lost a nail-bitter 6-5, 5-6, 10-8 in his NCAA debut against UC Davis' Brett Bacharach on January 18. DOUBLES: Posted a 5-5 record overall, including dual matches, with partner Ashot Khacharyan … tandem played at the No. 2 doubles position … tallied a three-match winning streak during the ladder portion of the season … knocked off Saint Mary’s tandem of Samuel Bloore and Wil Martin 8-2 in opening round of WCC Championships on April 23 … edged out Pacific’s Denis Stolyarov and Sem Verbeek 8-7 on Senior Day … defeated Saint Mary’s pairing of Samuel Bloore and Wil Martin 8-5 on April 18 … overcame pairing from No. 39 Oregon, Daan Maasland and Joey Swaysland, 8-6 to clinch the doubles point on April 9 … routed Willamette University pairing of Sam Wexman and Blake Brash 8-0 on March 28 … began playing with Khacharyan in late March … Recorded a 3-6 mark in dual matches with partner Jesse Ross … played primary at the No. 3 doubles position … grinded out an 8-6 victory over No. 57 San Diego State’s Jonas Meinzer and Milan Ianakiev on February 20 … earned a 6-3 win over UC Santa Cruz's Kyle Richter and Sean Hollister on February 1  ... came together for a 6-4 win in their NCAA debuts against UC Davis's Parker Kelley and Adam Luba on January 18.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Saint Dimitry Kipiani School … competed for the Georgian Davis Cup team in Bulgaria in 2012 … reached an ITF ranking of 224 … highest ATP singles ranking is 1855 … highest ATP doubles ranking is 1189 … highest U-16 ranking in Europe is No. 6 … currently ranked fourth in singles in Georgia, and second in doubles, according to the ATP rankings.
