2018 – Redshirt Junior Season: Friday ace in the weekend rotation… Made 14 starts… Posted a 3-4 overall record… Held a 4.85 ERA… Tossed one complete game shutout… Struck out 80 batters in 68.2 innings of action… Held the third-best strikeout-to-walk ratio in the BIG EAST (4.21)… Ranked fifth in the conference in strikeouts per nine innings (10.49)… Only walked 19 batters… Limited opponents to just 37 earned runs off 83 hits… Threw a complete game, two-hit shutout at Western Michigan (March 16)… Struck out 10 and only walked one vs. the Broncos… Sat down eight batters in his debut vs. Lehigh (Feb. 16)… Exited the game with seven strikeouts in his second start vs. George Mason (Feb. 23)… Helped Butler win their home opener after throwing 6.1 innings with six strikeouts (March 9)… Struck out seven batters vs. Creighton in the BIG EAST opener (April 7)… Earned his third win of the season at Villanova with a six inning outing that included just one run off five hits (April 13)… Struck out seven Wildcats while only walking one… Struck out five batters in three-straight starts from April 20 – May 4)… Selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 27th round of the 2018 MLB Draft.

2017 – Junior Season: Weekend starter that was limited to nine starts due to injury… Ended the year 3-3 on the mound with a 3.36 ERA… Made his season debut vs. La Salle, limiting the Explorers to just two runs off two hits while striking out six (Feb. 19)… Tossed a complete game, one-hit shutout at Alcorn State (Feb. 25)… Struck out a season-high 10 batters in that outing to earn his first win… Tossed seven full innings at Davidson to limit the Wildcats to just one run (March 5)… Picked up his second win of the season during his lone bullpen outing against Fort Wayne (March 12)… Helped Butler knock off Seton Hall 4-1, by throwing five full innings against the Pirates (April 9)… Struck out three and limited SHU to just three hits to earn his third win of the year… Struck out six at Xavier in 6.2 innings of action (April 23).

2016 - Sophomore Season: Limited to just three appearances due to injury... Ended the year 1-1 overall with a 15.43 ERA... Lone start of the season came at Samford (Feb. 21)... Tossed two innings and was hit with eight earned runs... Returned to the mound to record two outs at Charleston Southern (Feb. 27).. Struck out one and didn't allow a hit during that outing... Final appearance was a two-inning bullpen session at Charleston Southern (Feb. 28)... Limited CSU to just three hits while striking out one batter.

2015 - Freshman Season: Made 14 appearances for the Bulldogs... Posted a 1-2 overall record over eight starts... Ended the year with a 5.59 ERA... Tossed 29 full innings... Struck out 21 batters... Walked 17 batters... Allowed 38 hits which resulted in 18 earned runs... Struck out four batters in two innings of relief work at Louisville (Feb. 24)... First career start was a rough outing vs. LIU Brooklyn that resulted in five runs off five hits... Second start was three full innings of no-hit action at Marian (March 17)... Tossed a season-high 4.2 innings of baseball vs. Northern Kentucky, leaving the mound with a season-high five strikeouts (April 21)... Walked four and struck out three during his start vs. Dayton (May 6)... Final outing was 1.2 innings of work at Xavier (May 15).

High School: Earned two varsity letters in baseball... Played in Perfect Game Iowa Spring League as a senior... Recorded 40 strikeouts in just 22 innings as a sophomore... Recorded 50 strikeouts in 33 innings of work as a junior... Led the team in strikeouts during both his sophomore and junior seasons... Named to the Top Prospect Team as a senior.

Personal: Son of Brooks and Laura Mitchell... Has a brother named Jackson... Majoring in political science.
