2021 – Freshman Season: Played in 18 games, making 10 starts… Picked up nine hits in 44 at-bats to post a .205 batting average… Scored three runs… Lone extra base hit was a double… Ended the year with two RBI and 10 total bases… Walked five times and was hit twice to move his on-base percentage to .314… Stole one base… Recorded a .857 fielding percentage and .227 slugging percentage… Made his collegiate debut vs. DePauw (3/9)… Made his first start at DH vs. Purdue Fort Wayne (3/12)… Went 2-for-4 vs. the Mastodons with a stolen base and RBI… Recorded two more hits the following day vs. PFW (3/13)… Went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored vs. Valpo (3/27)… Impacted the Ball State game with a hit, a walk and a run scored (4/2)… Hit a double and scored and scored a run at Ball State (4/3)… Had three multi-hit games… Longest hitting streak covered four games… Reached base safely in six-straight games.

High School: Three-year starter... Helped his team win conference championships in 2017 and 2019... Hit .419 with 16 extra-base hits as a junior... Finished that season with 29 runs scored, 19 RBI and 11 walks... Set the school record for most hits in a single-season with 36... Named All-County and All-Conference... 10th-ranked overall player and the second ranked shortstop in Indiana's class of 2021 rankings. 

Personal: Son of Jennifer and Todd Taylor... Has two siblings, Brynn and Ian.
