Jessica Taylor

Jessica Taylor

Taylor completed a decorated volleyball career at Butler in 1992, but not before launching an all-out assault on the Butler volleyball record book.  At the time of her graduation, Taylor was Butler’s all-time leader in kills, attacks, service aces and digs, and she held numerous single match and single season school marks.  She still ranks third all-time at Butler in digs (1,722) and fourth all-time in kills (1,599), attacks (4,618) and service aces (161).  The gifted outside hitter was named first team All-Midwestern Collegiate Conference in 1991 and 1992 and second team All-MCC in 1990.  She was a two-time MCC All-Tournament pick, was chosen to multiple in-season All-Tournament teams and was named Butler’s 1992 Most Valuable Player.
