Butler University Athletics

Dave starred on the hardwood for Coach Tony Hinkle's Bulldogs. He set the Butler single season basketball scoring record with 536 points in 1964-65 (20.6 points per game). Dave was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Bulldogs in 1964-65, for which he earned All Conference honors for the second time, as well as Bulldog MVP honors. Dave finished his Butler basketball career with 1,103 points.
