Butler University Athletics

A graduate of North Central High School, Elza played basketball and tennis at Butler. She excelled in basketball, garnering 1,050 rebounds in her career (an average of 10.8 per game) for the Bulldogs. A four year starter, she scored 1,517 points over her career, topped by a 37 point performance against St. Joseph's. In 1983, Elza was named an Honorable Mention Academic All American. As Butler's Captain, Elza was named M.V.P. in 1984.
