Class of 1960: Ken Pennington was a three-year letterwinner, two-year all conference performer and team captain and MVP with the Bulldogs. He led Butler to 50 basketball wins over three seasons and finished his tenure with 1,154 career points. Ken recalled the solid training that he received while playing under Coach Tony Hinkle in a 1992 quote to the Indianapolis Star, "We practiced the same things my last practice as a senior as we did my first practice as a freshamn. He (Hinkle) was conservative, traditional and fundamental.
