Lynn Mitchem

5529Lynn Mitchem became the first player in Butler basketball history to be named the Bulldogs' Most Valuable Player for three consecutive seasons, 1981-83. He was a four-year starting forward and a three-year All-Midwestern Collegiate Conference performer. The South Bend native led Butler in scoring and rebounding for three consecutive seasons, and he finished his collegiate career with a Butler all-time record 1,798 points. He currently stands third on Butler's all-time scoring list and ranks fourth on the school's all-time rebounding chart.
