Butler University Athletics

Class of 1926: Nipper played football, basketball and baseball for the Bulldogs and was a member of the 1924 Butler University National Collegiate Basketball Championship team (A.A.U.). He was president of his freshman class in 1922 and captain of the basketball squad in 1926. The former football coach initiated Indianapolis' High School Football Jamborees. He is a member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
