Can I pay for my season ticket order with a payment plan?
Yes. We offer payment plans that spread the total amount of your tickets to be automatically charged in monthly payments.
Can I keep my same season ticket seats I had in the previous season?
No. We will continue to use our annual Select-A-Seat event for season ticket holders to select their seats for this season.
Will there be any changes to the Select-A-Seat process?
The process itself will remain the same: shortly after the deadline, all season ticket accounts will be ranked by their points per seat average and issued a date and time to select their seats.
Will I receive a season ticket booklet in time for the first exhibition game?
All season tickets will be mobile. If you must have a hard ticket, the ticket office will be able to print your tickets onto standard ticket stock for a fee.
Why use a points system for men's basketball season tickets?
Programs like this are very common in intercollegiate athletics. The program will help increase annual giving to athletics, while providing our season ticket holders and donors an extra incentive to stay loyal year after year.
Do I have to make a donation in order to purchase season tickets?
Donations are not required, but it is encouraged and greatly appreciated. If you are a season-ticket holder, per the new tax legislation, all donations may be considered 0% tax-deductible due to our priority points system. Please consult with your tax advisor. -- Gifts made from donor-advised funds to support Butler athletics are certainly welcomed. However, IRS regulations also prohibit the use of donor-advised funds for gifts that benefit the donor or any specific individual. Therefore, such gifts cannot be used to fulfill individual pledges and are not eligible for priority points or other donor benefits, such as hospitality access.
How are donations to Athletics used?
Donations to athletics go directly to support our student-athletes and teams. Donations are used to fund: team travel, equipment, recruiting, facilities, etc. Your donation can be made to the general Bulldog Club fund, to specific teams, or scholarships.

Do gifts to a specific sport count towards Priority Points?
Yes. Any gift to Butler athletics is appreciated and will be counted towards priority points, while an annual gift with no restrictions, such as a gift to the Bulldog Club Fund, is preferred. These gifts can be allocated to the greatest need. To reiterate, all gifts to Butler Athletics, no matter the area or sport will be counted towards Priority Points.
My company matches my gift to Athletics. Will the match be counted in my Priority Point calculation?
Yes, if a company matches your contribution to Butler, it would count toward your priority points. Before submitting a matching gift request, please consult with your HR department on their matching gift guidelines. Matching gifts that count for Priority Points must be fully processed before the points will be added to your account.
Why only take into account an individual's ticket history dating back to 1989?
The decision was made to count consecutive years as a season ticket holder since 1989 due to the fact that was the first year of renovated seating in Hinkle Fieldhouse and records of season tickets prior to that year are not complete.
