2013 - Junior Season: Posted a 2-3 record on the mound in nine starts... Made 13 total appearances to finish the season with a 4.59 ERA... Came out of the bullpen to record one save... Tossed 51 innings... Third on the team with 46 strikeouts... Held opponents to a .255 batting average... Only allowed one home run and 26 earned runs on the year... Made his season debut by throwing 2.1 innings at Georgia State (Feb. 15)... First start of the season came vs. IPFW as Laing pitched seven innings, limiting the Mastodons to just two hits while striking out a season-high 11 batters... First win of the year came in a six inning outing at VCU (March 23)... Struck out six batters at VCU and again vs. Saint Louis (April 7)... Earned his second win of the year at Dayton by limiting the Flyers to just one run (April 14).
2012 - Sophomore Season: Made two starts before suffering a season-ending injury... Had 1-1 record and 12 strikeouts over 10.0 innings... Struck out five in 5.0 innings at Fresno State (Feb. 18)... Earned win and struck out seven at UT-Martin (Feb. 26).
2011 - Redshirt Season: Injured and did not play.
2010 - Freshman Season: Made 18 appearances, 17 coming in relief... Totaled 34.0 innings and a 2-1 record... Notched two saves... Pitched 2.1 innings and got the win vs. Lehigh (March 7)... Threw a shutout inning for a save at Marian (March 16)... Worked 3.0 shutout innings to pick up a save vs. Buffalo (March 19)... Started and pitched a pair of shutout innings and struck out three vs. Cincinnati (March 23)... Worked 2.1 innings and struck out three at Cleveland State (April 24)... Pitched 2.0 shutout innings vs. UIndy (May 4)... Pitched 4.0 innings, struck out five and got the win vs. Cleveland State (May 21).
