2024 – Senior Season: Played in 36 games, making 31 starts primarily at third base… Recorded 27 hits in 111 at-bats to post a .243 batting average… Ended the year with eight doubles and four home runs to raise his slugging percentage to .423… Scored 19 runs… Recorded 25 RBIs and 47 total bases… Walked 13 times and was hit by a pitch eight times to move his on-base percentage to .364… Had two sacrifice hits… Made 23 putouts in the field and assisted on 45 outs… Hit a first-inning grand slam at Eastern Illinois to help Butler win 10-6 (4/24)… Homered in the final game of the St. John’s series (4/21)… Hit two home runs in the Morehead State Series (3/2-3)… Recorded two RBIs in five-straight games from Feb 24 to March 3… Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a double vs. MSU (3/3)… Had a multi-hit game at Alabama A&M (2/25)… Recorded eight hits over his last six games… Had a double and three RBIs vs. Bradley (3/16)… Walked twice to score three runs at Miami Ohio (3/19)… Went 2-for-5 with a double vs. Ball State (3/20)… Went 2-for-2 with a walk, a double and an RBI in the first game of the St. John’s series (4/19)… Had two hits and a walk vs. Miami Ohio (4/17).  

2023 – Junior Season: Played in 35 games, making 20 starts… Recorded 12 hits in 67 at-bats to post a .179 batting average… Had one double, one triple and one home run to raise his slugging percentage to .269… Walked six times and was hit by a pitch on two occasions to move his on-base percentage to .267… Scored 10 runs… Ended the year with 18 total bases and six RBI… Made 15 putouts in the field and assisted on 27 outs… Posted a .933 fielding percentage… Got a start at DH and went 3-for-5 from the plate at Georgetown with two RBI and two runs scored (5/7)… Hit a solo home run vs. St. John’s (5/18)… Had an RBI triple at Cincinnati (3/25)… Went 2-for-2 vs. Eastern Michigan with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored (3/21)… First hit of the campaign came in game one of a doubleheader vs. FDU (2/18)… Hit a double at Northern Kentucky (5/9)… Picked up a hit in two of three games at Campbell (2/24).

2022 – Sophomore Season: Played in 55 games, making 52 starts at second base… Came up with 38 hits in 168 at-bats to post a .226 batting average… Scored 23 runs… Hit 10 doubles and three home runs to help post 20 RBI… Ended the year with 57 total bases… 13 extra base hits moved his slugging percentage up to .339… Walked 24 times to raise his on-base percentage to .353… Stole four bases on eight attempts… Made 62 putouts… Assisted on 119 outs… Posted a .953 fielding percentage… Hit a grand slam at Murray State (2/20)… Jumped into the starting lineup at Jackson State (2/25)… Recorded an RBI in five-straight games from March 1-6… Went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base at Jacksonville (3/5)… Went 1-for-2 at Illinois with a double (3/15)… Hit a double vs. Northwestern to end the day with two RBI and two runs scored (3/27)… Hit two doubles at Bellarmine while scoring two runs (3/29)… Hit a home run in the third game of the Eastern Illinois series (4/3)… Came up with two RBIs and two runs scored in the finale vs. Villanova (4/10)… Hit a double in the final game at St. John’s (4/24)… Went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored vs. UConn (4/30)… Opened the Xavier series going 2-for-4 with an RBI, a double and a run scored (5/7)… Hit a home run vs. Xavier in game two (5/7)… Final extra base hit came at Purdue Fort Wayne (5/17).

High School: Four-year starter... Named Second Team All-Conference... Helped San Marcos win two CIF Championships... Royals were ranked 44th in the nation and sixth in the state of California... Played club ball for Trosky Baseball... Honor roll student.

Personal: Son of William and Mary Wurch... Has two siblings; Jennifer and Elizabeth... Plans to major in business.
