2018 – Junior Season: Made 16 total appearances out of the bullpen… Ended the year 3-0 on the mound with a 1.17 ERA… Recorded 12 strikeouts in 15.1 innings of action… Only allowed nine hits… Walked five batters… Only gave up three runs (two earned)… Tossed 3.2 innings over three appearances vs. BIG EAST foes… Made his season debut vs. Lehigh on Feb. 16… Picked up his first win of the season vs. Ball State (March 14)… Improved to 2-0 after throwing two full innings at IU-Kokomo (April 24)… Struck out a season-best three batters in the win… Third win followed with Balderson throwing two full innings vs. Illinois State (April 28)… Longest outing of the season included 31 pitches over two full innings vs. Xavier (May 6)… Didn’t allow a run over his six final outings of the season.

2017 – Sophomore Season: Made 10 appearances out of the BU bullpen… Finished the year with a 10.03 ERA… Limited to 11.2 innings of work… Struck out five batters… Only issued three walks… Longest outing of the season came against Ohio (Feb.18)… Struck out two and didn’t allow a hit in three full innings of action against the Bobcats… Tied his season-high strikeout total at Alcorn State (Feb. 25)… Took the loss against the Braves after throwing two innings… Final strikeout of the season came in BIG EAST action against Villanova (May 7).

2016 - Freshman Season: Posted a 1-4 overall record with an 8.90 ERA... Made 14 appearances, making five starts... Tossed 29.1 innings... Struck out 17 batters... Made his season debut at Samford (Feb. 19)... Earned his first win of the year in his longest outing of the season against Western Michigan (March 27)... Threw six full innings against the Broncos, limiting WMU to just four hits resulting in zero earned runs... Struck out a season-high five batters in his final appearance of the year against Ball State (May 17).

High School: Three-year letter winner for Marlington H.S. in Alliance, Ohio... School's all-time leader in wins... Named First Team All-Conference in 2014... Two-time Pitcher of the Year recipient in both 2013 and 2014... Invited to the 2014 Prep Baseball Report Top Prospect Game... Won the All-League Scholar Athlete Award for three-straight years in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
