    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Jake Krupar joined the Butler baseball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in July of 2021. Krupar came to Butler after coaching stops at Wofford, Muskingum, Baldwin Wallace and Stark County.
 
Krupar spent the 2021 season with the Wofford Terriers where he served as the director of player development. He was responsible for implementing the Synergy video system, along with assisting the coaching staff with statistical analysis and player development goals.  
   
In his first season with the team, Wofford won the first regular season Southern Conference Championship in school history. The team was 36-21 overall and 21-9 in league play, which were the most conference wins in school history. Elliot Carney was named the Southern Conference Pitcher of the Year and earned first team All-Conference honors, while Dalton Rhadans was first team All-Conference as a relief pitcher. They were joined by Colin Davis (SoCon Player of the Year), Jack Renwick, Lawson Hill and Nolen Hester earned league honors. Renwick and Trey Yunger were named to the All-Freshman Team.
   
Prior to Wofford he spent two seasons on the Muskingum baseball staff as the assistant coach/recruiting coordinator. He was responsible for coaching the Muskie batters and outfielders while also serving as the recruiting coordinator.
      
Before arriving at Muskingum, Krupar served as an assistant coach at Baldwin Wallace University. While at Baldwin Wallace, he worked with multiple All-OAC players as the team won the conference tournament and advanced to a regional. He assisted in practices, recruiting, and coached the JV team. His duties also included coaching outfielders, assisting with hitters, assisting with camps, and video coordination.               
   
Krupar worked as an assistant coach with the Stark County Terriers Collegiate Baseball team in the summer of 2017.     
   
Prior to coaching, Krupar was a four-year baseball letterwinner at the University of Toledo. While at Toledo, Krupar earned Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors in 2017 and the Scholar Baller Award from 2014-2017. He guided the Rockets to the MAC Tournament in 2015, 2016 and again in 2017.
   
A native of East Sparta, Ohio, Krupar graduated from Toledo in 2017 with a B.S. in criminal justice and completed his master’s degree in education at Muskingum in 2020.
