Zach Malecki


Zach Malecki joined the Butler staff in January, 2020 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. His primary responsibilities include working directly with the Bulldogs' baseball and women’s swimming programs.

Malecki came to Butler after spending three years at Northern Kentucky University, where he served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Norse men’s basketball and baseball programs. Prior to Northern Kentucky, Malecki spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Canisius College, providing athletic training services to the Golden Griffin baseball program.

Malecki, a certified member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, spent the 2013 NFL campaign as a seasonal athletic training intern with the Cleveland Browns. He also was a member of the sports medicine staff for USA Hockey’s Player Development Programs during the summers of 2012-2016.

Malecki graduated from The College at Brockport (SUNY) in 2013 with a B.S. in Athletic Training. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Health and Human Performance, with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning, from Canisius College in 2016.
