2021 – Junior Season: Made one appearance out of the bullpen… Recorded two outs at Georgetown (5/22)… Walked one batter.

2020 – Sophomore Season: Made two appearances on the mound out of the bullpen… Ended the year with a 13.50 ERA… Struck out one batter… Walked two… Allowed one earned run on one hit.
 
2019 - Redshirt

2018 – Freshman Season: Made three appearances… Recorded a strikeout in his debut vs. St. Peter’s (March 4)… Struck out a batter at home vs. Saint Francis (March 22)… Got an out vs. Anderson (March 28)… Allowed two hits on the year… Gave up one earned run… Walked one batter.

High School: Earned two varsity letters in baseball at Rock Rock under the direction of head coach John Carter... Helped his team post a 31-8 overall record which included a 9-3 mark against conference opponents... Tossed a perfect game in 2017... Named Texas All-Region honorable mention... Played club ball for Austin Elite... Two-time academic all-district selection.

Personal: Son of Trent and Marion Hurn... Has two brothers; Travis and Trent... Plans to major in biology.

Why I Chose Butler: It is a great opportunity to play baseball. I like the coaches and the academics at Butler. It will give me a new experience away from home.
