First appearance of the season was one inning of relief at Samford (Feb. 28)... Tossed four innings vs. IPFW, ending the game with his first win of the season (March 8)... 2013 - Junior Season: Made sixteen appearances on the mound for Butler, including six starts... Posted an 0-3 record on the mound... Tossed 43.2 innings... Earned three saves out of the bullpen... Posted a 4.33 ERA... Recorded 26 strikeouts... Made his first BU start at Georgia State (Feb. 16)... First save of the season came at Appalachian State in game two of a doubleheader (Feb. 23)... Pitched four innings at Dayton to pick up his second save of the season (April 13)... Final save came at home vs. Fordham (April 28)... Struck out a season-high four batters in three different games... Final start of the year came vs. Xavier (May 18).
Before Butler: Played at Iowa Lakes Community College for two seasons... Went 5-5 with a 3.18 ERA in 56.2 innings as a sophomore in 2012... Struck out 72 against 27 walks... Named to Iowa Lakes Dean's List in all four semesters.
High School: All-state and all-star selection as high school senior in 2010... Two-time All-Mid State Conference honoree... Went 8-1 as a senior with a 2.20 ERA and 101 strikeouts... Named all-conference in cross country three times and all-state twice... Played two seasons of varsity basketball at Staples-Motley... High school baseball coach was John Riewer.
