The Washington Nationals selected Jack Moroknek in the 11th round of the 2025 MLB Draft (321st pick)

2025 – Junior Season: All-BIG EAST Second Team selection… Led the team in hits (81), batting average (.372), total bases (153), RBIs (57), home runs (18), runs scored (57), slugging percentage (.702) and OPS (1.145)… Ranked second in the BIG EAST in total bases and home runs… Ranked third among conference foes in batting average and slugging percentage… Ranked fourth in the league in hits… Set the Butler school record for most total bases in a single-season… Played in all 54 games, making 53 starts… Took 218 at-bats… Had 16 doubles and one triple… Walked 26 times and was hit by a pitch five times to raise his on-base percentage to .443… Tied for the team lead with four sacrifice flies… Stole two bases on three attempts… Made 108 putouts… Posted a .991 fielding percentage… Led BU with 28 multi-hit games… Had multiple RBIs in 13 games… Longest hitting streak covered seven games… Reached base safely in 11-straight games… Tied the BU school record by hitting three home runs in a single game at Lindenwood (3/7)… Ended that game going 3-for-4 from the plate with five RBIs and three runs scored… Had six home runs after the first seven games of the season… Homered in back-to-back games to open up the weekend series at Georgetown (4/17-18)… Ended his season with two home runs and five RBIs in the finale vs. St. John’s (5/17)… Went 4-for-6 vs. Norfolk State with a home run, a double, three RBIs and three runs scored (2/22)… Came up with four RBIs at Miami (3/26)… Ranked 42nd in the NCAA in total bases, 49th in slugging percentage, 58th in home runs, 60th in batting average, and 82nd in hits.
