2021 – Senior Season: Weekend starter… Led Butler on the mound with four wins… Started in 11 games… Held a 4.39 ERA… Tossed two complete games… Led BU with 54 strikeouts… Threw 65.2 innings to lead the team… Only walked 18 batters… Allowed 68 hits, resulting in 39 runs (32 ER)… Named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week after his last start at Georgetown (5/20)… Threw seven innings of shutout baseball vs. the Hoyas… Ended the game with eight strikeouts and no walks for his fourth win of the year… Matched his season-high strikeout total with eight at Evansville (3/20)… Shutout Purdue Fort Wayne in his first start with seven strikeouts and just two walks over seven frames (3/13)… Opened his senior season 2-0 with wins over PFW and Evansville… Recorded a win vs. Villanova with five strikeouts over five innings against the Wildcats (4/23).

2020 – Junior Season: Weekend starter… Ended the year 2-2 on the mound with a 4.01 ERA… Tossed 24.2 innings over his four starts… Led the team with 34 strikeouts… Only walked two batters… Allowed 11 earned runs off 26 hits… Struck out 14 batters in his season debut vs. North Carolina A&T (2/15)… Improved to 2-0 on the year with seven strikeouts vs. Western Illinois (2/23)… Struck out nine batters over 7.2 innings of action at UCF (3/7).

2019 – Sophomore Season: Made 20 appearances out of the bullpen… Ended the year with a 3-2 record on the mound… Posted a 5.08 ERA… Led the team with three saves… Struck out 34 batters in 33.2 inning of action… Only walked 14 batters… Limited foes to 19 earned runs on 34 hits… Struck out a season-high five batters in his season debut vs. Rider (Feb. 16)… Recorded his first save vs. Central Michigan (March 2)… Struck out five over three innings and didn’t issue a walk to seal the win… First win on the mound came against Western Michigan (March 17)… Got two outs to get the save in the win over Anderson (March 27)… Threw a season-high 5.1 innings vs. St. John’s, limiting the Red Storm to one run off three hits (April 5)… Struck out four and didn’t walk any batters in two innings vs. Northern Kentucky (April 23)… Earned the win at Seton Hall (April 27)… Tossed four innings to pick up his third win at Air Force (May 11)… Final save came on the road at Georgetown (May 16).

2018 – Freshman Season: Ended the year 1-1 on the mound… Made five total appearances… Made one start… Tossed 2.2 innings of action in his lone start at home vs. Saint Francis (March 22)… Struck out a season-high two batters… Limited the opponent to just one run off four hits… Struck out one batter in his debut vs. Lehigh (Feb. 17)… Got an out vs. St. Peter’s (March 4)… Struck out one batter in relief vs. Anderson (March 28)… Final appearance came at Victory Field vs. Indiana State (May 1).

High School: Earned three varsity letters in baseball at Cathedral under the direction of head coach Ed Freije... Helped Cathedral win a State Championship in 2017... Named All-City honorable mention after his junior and senior year... Picked up seven wins in just nine appearances as a senior... Tossed 38.1 innings of action... Struck out 32 batters... Held a 1.83 ERA... Top performances include a complete game three-hit shutout against Guerin Catholic with eight strikeouts and another three-hit complete game shutout against Homestead with seven strikeouts... Honor Roll student... Played club ball for the Indiana Bulls.

Personal: Son of Mike and Jenny Myers... Has two siblings; Kate and Josie... Plans to major in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Why I Chose Butler: I chose Butler because it was a great opportunity for me to get a great education and play baseball at a high level.
