2022 – Sophomore Season: Played in 10 games, making one start… Lone hit of the season was a two-run home run at Illinois (3/15)… Scored a run vs. Eastern Michigan (3/20)… Took 10 total at-bats.

2021 – Freshman Season: Played in 22 games, making 11 starts… Came up with four hits over 31 at-bats to post a .129 batting average… Scored five runs… Ended the year with three RBI and four total bases… Walked five times and was hit by a pitch twice to raise his on-base percentage to .282… Held a .129 slugging percentage… Stole one base… Made 39 put-outs and three assists to post a .977 fielding percentage… Scored a run as a pinch-runner vs. Valpo (3/26)… Got the start vs. Villanova and delivered two hits, two runs and an RBI (4/23)… Went 1-for-2 with an RBI in game two of the Villanova series (4/24)… Ended the Nova series with an RBI and a run scored (4/25)… Final hit of the season came at home vs. Northern Kentucky (5/2)… Scored a run at Georgetown (5/21)... Reached base safely in five-straight games.

High School: Three-year starter... Helped his team post a 27-5 overall record, including an 8-0 mark vs. conference opponents... Hit .319 in 2018 with 21 runs, 10 stolen bases... Scored 21 runs in 2019 with a .400 on-base percentage...  Played club ball for the Top Tier Roos.

Personal: Son of Rhea and Charlie Shoop... Has three siblings; Emme, Anna, and Jacob... Plans to major in Finance.
