2018 – Freshman Season: Appeared in five games… Hit .500 by recording three hits over his six at-bats… Two of his three hits were scored doubles… Scored one run and picked up one RBI… Ended the year with five total bases… Hit a double in his Butler debut against St. Peter’s (March 4)… Pinch hit at Western Michigan to deliver a base knock and a run scored (March 18)… Took over at first base against Saint Francis and recorded an RBI double (March 22).

High School: Earned three varsity letters in baseball at Brebeuf under the guidance of head coach Jeremy Sassanella... Helped Brebeuf win two sectional championships (2016, 2017) and a Marion County Championship... Hit .395 during his senior season with 18 singles, seven doubles and seven home runs... Ended the year with 39 RBI and 17 runs scored... Didn't commit a single error in the field... Two-time All-USA Indy Area Baseball Super Team selection... Two-time All-Marion County First Team honoree... Rawlings Perfect Game All-American as a senior... Indiana All-State selection... Made the North-South All-Star Team.

Personal: Son of Charles and Sheryl Hensley... Has two brothers... Plans to major in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Why I Chose Butler: Butler is not only a great school to play baseball,, but it also will provide me with a great education to pursue a career beyond baseball.
