2013 - Junior Season: Impact player that played in 49 games, making 46 starts... Posted a .268 BA and a .330 on-base%... Second on the team with 51 hits... Led the team in at-bats (190)... Led the team in runs scored with 30... Recorded nine doubles, one triple and two home runs... Ended the year with 23 RBIs and 68 total bases... Posted a .358 SLG%... Second on the team with five stolen bases... Only made two errors on the season which led to a .981 fielding percentage... Ended the Georgia State series on a roll with a 2-for-5 effort from the plate (Feb. 17)... Scored two runs, stole a base and recorded an RBI during the game... First home run of the season came at Appalachian State (Feb. 23)... Went 3-for-4 at Lipscomb with a double, two RBIs and one run scored (March 1)... Recorded nine RBIs from Feb. 17 to March 9... Went on a streak to record three hits in three-straight games (March 15-17)... Second home run came vs. Eastern Michigan (March 16)... Lone triple of the year came at Northern Kentucky (March 17)... Went on a 13-game hitting streak from March 30 to April 23.
2012 - Sophomore Season: Emerged as the team's starting centerfielder...played in 55 games, starting 45 times...batted .274 with 25 RBIs and 23 runs scored...posted 12 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI outings...hit .304 in the month of February...went 2-for-4 with two runs driven in at Fresno State (Feb. 18)...posted 5-for-12 weekend at UT-Martin (Feb. 25-26)...doubled and walked twice vs. IPFW (March 9)...went 2-for-3 with two runs against Valparaiso (March 17)...had 4-for-4 day with two runs and two RBIs vs. Valpo (March 18)...went 2-for-5 with two RBIs vs. Cincinnati (March 20)...scored three runs and drove in three more vs. Wabash (April 3)...went 2-for-3 and scored three runs vs. UIC (April 13)...hit solo home run at Valparaiso (April 22)...went 3-for-4 and scored a run at Notre Dame (May 1)...went 2-for-2 in league tourney vs. Milwaukee (May 24).
2011 - Freshman Season: Used as a relief pitcher and outfielder...would also pinch run or hit off the bench...totaled 20.1 innings over nine pitching appearances, eight in relief...batted .231 in 26 at-bats with six runs scored and five RBIs...had 0-2 record with a 4.43 ERA...pitched two scoreless innings and struck out four vs. Mt. Marty College (March 13)...pitched season-high 5.1 innings and fanned three vs. Bucknell (March 16)...threw a perfect inning at Milwaukee (April 1)...made season's only start and worked 4.0 innings at Dayton, allowing just one earned run...went 2-for-3 with two RBIs vs. Taylor (March 8)...stole two bases vs. Akron (March 14)...had a single and sac fly at Valparaiso (April 30).
High School: Florida’s Class 4A Player of the Year in 2009 after batting .511 with seven homers and 45 RBIs as an outfielder...named school's school’s sportsman of the year as well as Team MVP and team captain...also a left-handed pitcher, he threw a no-hitter in the district tournament.
Personal: Son of Steve and Celina Calderon... older brother, Lucas, played for Butler's baseball team... Majoring in advertising.
