2016 - Senior Season: Made 12 appearances out of the bullpen... Ended the year 1-1 overall with a 10.54 ERA... Threw 13.2 innings... Struck out 12 batters... Made his debut at Samford, tossing a perfect inning with one strikeout (Feb. 19)... Struck out three in two innings of work in the home opener vs. Marian (March 2)... Struck out two batters in one inning at home vs. Miami Ohio (April 20)... Tossed a perfect frame at Eastern Illinois with one strikeout (May 16)... Struck out a season-high four batters in an expanded outing vs. Ball State (May 17)... Threw four full inning against the Cardinals limiting BSU to just two hits.

2015 - Junior Season: Made 12 appearances with one start... Ended the season with a 1-2 overall record that included a 12.89 ERA... Recorded 10 strikeouts in just 14.2 innings of action... Walked seven batters... Allowed 31 hits, resulting in 21 earned runs... Season debut included one full inning of work at Lipscomb (Feb. 13)... Saw extended time on the bump at Pepperdine, throwing 2.1 innings of two-hit baseball (Feb. 20)... Struck out three batters in his only start of the season at Indiana State (March 31)... Notched a strikeout in eight of his 12 appearances.

Junior College (San Diego Mesa): Posted a 9-3 overall record on the hill as a sophomore for San Diego Mesa... Helped the team post an overall record of 19-17... Tossed 82.1 innings of action, holding a 3.50 ERA... Struck out 46 batters while only walking 16... Opponents hit .241 with Rathjen on the mound... Honorable mention all-conference selection (Pacific Coast Athletic Conference)

High School: Helped Pleasant Grove High School win their first-ever Delta River League Championship in 2012... Posted a 5-1 record with a 3.02 ERA in 41.2 innings of action as a senior... Team finished the year with a 23-6 overall record... First Team All-League pick in 2012... Honorable mention All-Metro Sacramento Area.

Personal: Son of Ben and Renae Rathjen... Has a sister named Daniele... Majoring in business... Earned an academic award at Pleasant Grove H.S. and was named to the Dean's Honor Roll List at San Diego Mesa College.
