2025 – Junior Season: Played in 37 games, making 20 starts… Utility player that saw starts at first base (8), centerfield (6), leftfield (2), rightfield (1) and designated hitter (3)… Hit .267 with 20 hits coming in 75 at-bats… Had four doubles and two homers helping him reach 10 RBIs… Ended the year with 30 total bases… Scored 11 runs… Walked 14 times to help move his on-base percentage to .385… Six extra base hits helped him slug at a .400 clip… Hit one sacrifice fly… Stole four bases on four attempts… Credited with 102 putouts and four assists… Posted a .981 fielding percentage… Had four multi-hit games… Came up with multiple RBI’s in two games… Went 3-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored in a start at Notre Dame (3/18)… First home run of the season was hit at Belmont (3/14)… Had two doubles as part of a 2-for-3 day at Northwestern (4/29)… Doubled in a start at Ball State (3/19)… Provided BU with a pinch-hit double at Xavier (4/5)… Had two hits and an RBI when Butler hosted Ball State (4/15)… Went 2-for-4 with a run scored in game two at Georgetown (4/18)… Had an RBI single in his last game at UConn (5/10).

Before Butler: Held a .455 batting average at Montgomery College while slugging at a .683 clip… Ranked eighth in the country in batting average… Part of a JUCO World Series Team… Received the Steve Bazarnic Award (Hitter of the Year)… Made the Dean’s List.

High School: Two-year starter for head coach Chris Rodriguez… Part of three IAC Championship Teams… Second-ranked team in the state of Maryland… Helped his team go 24-7 overall with a 9-1 record in conference… First Team All-IAC selection… Also played basketball.

Personal: Son of John and Pam Burgess… Has two siblings; Halle and Marley… Entrepreneurship major.
