Butler University Athletics

2020-21: Played in three of Butler's events, totaling eight rounds...posted a scoring average of 83.0...finished tied for 53rd at both the Don Benbow Invitational (58 golfers) and the Butler Spring Invitational (70 golfers).

2019-20: Did not appear in any of Butler's seven events (the 2019-20 season was canceled March 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

2018-19: Saw action in 10 of Butler's 12 events...posted a scoring average of 76.8 over his 23 rounds, which was fifth on the team for those who played in at least half of Butler's tournaments...posted a pair of Top 10 finishes...tied for eighth at the Savannah State Spring Fling with a four-over 76 in the single-round tournament...tied for sixth at the Big Four Classic at Crooked Stick with a six-over 78...finished T26 at the 2019 BIG EAST Championship, posting a 54-hole total of 231 (+15)...shot three-over 75s in each of the last two rounds.

2017-18: Played in six of Butler's nine tournaments...posted a scoring average of 77.81 over 16 rounds...his scoring average was fourth on the team for those players participating in multiple events...best finish of the season was T12 at the Butler Fall Invitational...his 54-hole score of 221 (+11) included an opening-round one-over 71, which was his best round of the season.

High School:  Two-time individual conference champion...three-time team conference champions...named to All-Conference team junior and senior seasons...named team captain and team MVP in his senior season.

Personal:  Son of Gary and Connie Hartnagel...has two siblings.
