Biography
*Tied a Butler program record with an eight-under 64 in the final round of the Virtues Intercollegiate Sept. 30, 2025. HeĀ eagled the par-5, 557-yard seventh hole and added six birdies to that eagle in posting the 64 on the 7,243-yard Virtues Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio. HisĀ 64 matched the program record for a par-72 course previously held exclusively by Damon DickeyĀ (March 10, 2023).Ā

2025-26 SEASON: His scoring average of 71.44 was second on the team...played in a total of 41 rounds over 14 events...shared medalist honors with teammate Leo Zurovac at the NKU Jewell Invitational (even-par 213)...his final-round 66 was two better than anyone else in the field...posted Top 20 finishes in nine of his 14 events...his other Top 10 finishes included fourth at The Muirfield Shootout (even-par), tied for sixth at the Dayton Flyer Invitational (even-par 213), second at the Virtues Intercollegiate (207; -9), and tied for tenth at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational (205; -5)...finished tied for ninth at the 2026 BIG EAST Championship (212; -4)...registered event scores of par or better in eight tournaments...his eight-under 64 in the final round of the 2025 Virtues Intercollegiate Sept. 30, 2025Ā matched the program record for a par-72 course...earned BIG EAST Men's Golfer of the Week honors twice: Oct. 1, 2025 and April 7, 2026.
2024-25 SEASON: Played in a team-high 12 tournaments and 31 rounds for the Bulldogs...his scoring average of 73.16 led the team and included seven sub-par rounds...posted three Top 10 finishes: tying for seventh at the season-opening Golden Grizzlies Classic (217; +1), placing seventh at the Dayton Flyer Invitational (215; +2), and tying for ninth at the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational (209; -1)...placed in a tie for 21st at the 2025 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship (219; +3)...shot rounds of 68 and 69 as part of the Benbow Spring Invitational.
PRIOR TO BUTLER: Sutto, a four-year varsity letterwinner at Anthony Wayne, helped lead his team to a 2023 State Championship along with multiple district and NLL Conference titles. Individually, he received 2023 All-State First Team, All-District First Team, and District Player of the Year honors. His round of 66 at the Ohio State Finals tied the tournament record. Sutto, who also played basketball and tennis, was an honor roll student and DECA state qualifier.
PERSONAL: Son ofĀ Cindy and Jim Sutto...has one sibling, Brody.
